Over 8 years of experience in game software development as programmer.
8 years in Unity and 2 years in Unreal Engine on which I am now mostly focused on.

With a wealth of experience in transforming design concepts into gameplay, I thrive when tackling new challenges and realizing ambitious visions.

Worked as programmer in small team from very beginning on successful indie rpg PC title - Tower of Time.
After successful launch I continued as senior programmer on much more ambitious production - Dark Envoy.
Recently I worked on unannounced action RPG title on Unreal Engine 5, heavily utilizing GAS system and Lyra project.

Consider myself as generalist programmer - extensive experience in a rapidly growing studio required wearing many hats and engaging in various phases of the production process, from conceptualization, through rough development - to the final releases.

Extensive practical experience in such areas as procedural generation, characters AI, quest mechanics, performance optimization (CPU, multithreading, memory usage), editor tools, continuous integration, 3rd party tools integration & maintenance. Supported multiplayer & networking features.

Leaded quest scripting team for 2 years - in parallel to coding duties.

Commercial Experience

Unreal Engine Programmer

2024 - present

I led the development of a new project on Unreal Engine 5.3, focusing on creating a vertical slice for a TPP Action RPG roguelike game centered around combat. My responsibilities included establishing an effcient development environment for the team and developing core features of the early prototype.

After successful launch of Tower of Time, we started to work on even more ambitious RPG title with multiplayer co-op, procedural generation, in-game cutscenes and much deeper rpg progression mechanics.

Tower of Time was first project in game dev I've worked on in newly emerging game studio Event Horizon. During that time I was still studying on University so it was part-time job mostly. I was chiefly responsible for gameplay programming and tools in small team of 4 programmers.
